Beverly has always enjoyed styling hair.  Her passion for the business started as a child working with her dolls and later moving on to friends and family members.  Her inspiration to pursue a career in Cosmetology came from her mother who never had formal training but loved doing hair throughout her life.   In 1974 Bev graduated from the Allentown School of Cosmetology.  She worked with her former employer for twenty-five years, pursuing and receiving her Managerial License, later managing one of the locations.   Beverly, who specializes in perms, has been with Designs of Michael Christopher for four years, ever since Michael moved to Whitehall from his former Allentown location.

Bev continues her skills training by attending In-Salon classes offered by Designs of Michael Christopher, as well as classes at the 2007 Chicago Beauty Show, and several motivation and managerial classes held by such notables as Don Scoleri, Michael Cole, and Doug Cox. In September 2016 She recieved her Brazillian Blowout Certificate.

Beverly, a native of Bethlehem, currently resides in Catasauqua.  She is married with two children.  Bev also has a four legged family consisting of one dog and four cats.  She loves animals, in particular those who need special attention that might otherwise be overlooked in the adoption process.   In her free time, Bev enjoys riding her Yamaha 250 motorcycle as well as sewing, knitting and crocheting.
